I tried posting this earlier but my pc froze arghhh.

Basically 4 out of 5 times when I click on the windows live messenger in quick launch Windows Live won't open up. I tried going into properties and clicking on "Run this program in compatibility mode with XP 2" and still nada. Any suggestions on what I should do? This never happened to me with my old pc with had XP.

    Thanks.

I can't tell u why that happens but whenever it happens go to task manager; by pressing the ctrl + shift + esc keys at the same time. Under the processes tab; Click "image name" to sort the column in alphabetical order, and look for msnmsgr.exe; select it and end the process. Then try clicking on the messenger shortcut again.
