My Vista will not perform a 'Restore' for some strange reason & i've been told that i need to DE-ACTIVATE the Anti Virus.

How do i DE-ACTIVATE the anti-virus when i can't get it to reboot at all ?

    PLS. ADVISE !!!

Any other suggestions to get my Vista to work again are welcome as my last resort is to do a complete installation.

hello my friend - i can't get to WINDOWS START UP at all in order for me to shut off the antivirus !!

The system is hanging up on me...

That's why i need to do a SYSTEM RESTORE but that does'nt work either since the PREVIOUS STARTUP POINTS are NOT allowing me to do a restore..

lets continue this conversation on another thread that i've created - WHICH VISTA O/S
