Laptop: Sony VAIO FZ285U
Hello. I recently upgraded my Laptop with 4 GB RAM.
With the factory installed version of Vista Ultimate, the OS only recognizes 3 GB RAM.
So, I took the opportunity to install an x64 Version of Vista Ultimate, and It worked very well: The OS recognized all 4 GB RAM, and the system seemed to perform faster.
Boot up time was alot, I mean alot quicker as well (this probably due to the fact it's a clean install with no bundled stuff.)
But unfortunately there were some drivers missing:
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT (recognized as Standard VGA adapter)
FlashMedia Controller (for memory stick and SD card reader)
Wireless WiFi
Sigmatel High Definition Audio CODEC
So I searched on Sony's web site, but they don't have any x64 drivers officially listed there yet.
-------------------------------------------
Please, any of you guys know if x64 drivers for this PC are available or if Sony plans to release the any time soon ?
I would greately appreciate some some help on this.
Thank you !

For now, I just returned back to the original factory installed version using the recovery DVD.
