    Vista x64 resumes from hibernation itself

    Just instaled Windows vista ultimate x64 and here comes the strange thing, when i hibernate my compiuter everything is ok. But after about 4 secods its turns on from hibernation by itself and resumes. Didn't saw any device with wake on lan function in device manager.... what could be the problem? it's very annoying.... :confused:

    Check in the event logs, you will see an entry for the resume from sleep along with (hopefully) the reason for the wake up.

    Usual things are keyboard, mouse, modem or network card. You can disable the wake up options under device manager for each one (tick box for power management).

    Problem solved, when I deleted all updates downloaded from microsoft yesterday... everything works just fine now.

    My laptop turns on whenever I unplug a mouse. Might that be your problem?

    no I think that was something related to updates..... I decided to turn off windows automatic updates ...
