    hi,

i recently wanted to make a full system backup with the windows backup software included with ultimate, but it now recognizes my D:/ drive (which is a partition i made so i can store data/programs) as a system drive along with C:/. (by system i mean that it is automatically selected for backup so i cant exclude it)

This is extremely annoying as my D;/ drive is huge as compared to C:/ (due to games) so i am forced to backup more than i have to.

Does anyone know what i will have to do? I have made a backup of only C:/ before so i think it could be the result of a recently install software on D:/ but i have no idea what could do it.

Thanks in advance for any help

Its not the BEST solution, but you could go into Computer Management, and use Disk Management to temporarily remove the Drive Letter associated with the disk/partiton. That way it'd just be there with no drive letter, and therefor wouldn't back up.

You could then re-add the D: drive letter once your backup is complete.

    Thoughts?
