Hi folks,
I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit, and usually open the Explorer via right click start button -> Explorer. The window opens always at the same size, quite small - and I always have to manually maximize it. I want it to always open maximized.
What I tried yet: edit the properties of the "Windows Explorer" shortcut in startmenu, which links to "%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe" to open always maximized, but it doesn't affect the right-click opened Explorer.
I tried the same with the explorer.exe itself, but it has no options for that.
Any clues on how I can make the Explorer automatically maximized when I open it that way (I'm aware how it works with a regular shortcut)?
Thanks in advance.

. Open the explorer again
. Maximize it
. Hold down SHIFT key and click on the X to close the window
. This should remember it next time around when opening to maximize

Type explorer in search > right click windows explorer > properties > open maximized
