Hi all,
I'd like to have every folder that I open have the same view options. For instance: File name, size and date created.
When I open the folder now I get: file name, creator, #, tags, etc....
what a pain the butt to always have to change this.
Any suggestions?
TIA...

i dont know if u tried, in tools, folder option, there is a button saying "apply to all folders"
hope it works -
Tried that again, didn't work.

In Tools->Folder Options... go to the "View" tab and make sure that the tick box next to the option "Remember each folder's view settings" is not checked.

If you figure this out, let me know. I have tried all of the registry entries and it seems to work well until you have to reboot, then you have to do it again. Hopefully they fix this bug, it is very annoying.

K, see you have problems too. I thought I was missing something.

In _Vista you probably have to be logged in as administrator to make permanent changes that affect all folders on the system.

Check this link, Windows Explorer Folder View settings.

Yeah those work until you reboot then you gotta do it over again. At least that's how it works for me.

It works for me and this is what I do,
Vista: Folders the same?
