Vista Business, Ultimate, and Enteprise allows Remote Desktop (RDP) Host such that another PC can connect to it remotely.
However, when I try to enable RDP Host in Vista Ultimate, an error pop up saying that:
"Windows can NOT enable or disable Remote Desktop without Windows Firewall..."
I do NOT want to use Windows Firewall as I have other Firewall program, but how do I enable Remote Desktop for Vista Ultimate without Windows Firewall?
This is also an issue in an enterprise environment as my company uses other firewall solution and our tech. support can NOT remote desktop to the user machine.

I'm running Vista Business on my laptop, and am able to toggle my options for both Remote Desktop and Remote Assistance on and off while keeping Windows Firewall off. Vista may just need the firewall service to be started and running, even though the firewall is off. (Not 100% sure on that).
Edit: Stopped the firewall service and tried to change options, wouldn't let me. So, just let the Windows Firewall service run, but disable the firewall options themselves and you should be OK -
Hey, that worked! Thanks a lot for the info!
