    Anyone here with a vlited vista successfully install sp1?

    I did. But I just made a bootable vista DVD. I didn't strip down the features of Vista.

    Thanks for the reply. I made a copy as well, but I stripped out quite a few things, and Im starting to think that is what is causing the error while trying to install sp1.

    Even Microsoft has said that if you used vLite to strip it down, SP1 will have problems installing.
