I have Windows 7 as host and Xp on a VM(Got OS X too but not gonna discuss that here as it is illegal, sort of). Anyway, I have internet on the host working fine. But no Internet acces on VM's. ipconfig gives me a return on ip, subnet, gateway, all that good crap. The VM's connection adapter on XP says I'm connected but still no internet. No updates. Any clues here? I seem to remember somewhere I found some info about configuring the DHCP and Some other stuff like changing IP's And subnets but I really am not sure about what to do there and forgot where I found it.
Already uninstalled and reinstalled VMWare. Haven't tried the OS yet. BC, like i said, I remember configurung it somehow without all that install/uninstall crap. HELP?!

Are you running in bridged mode for networking with VM? NAT?
does your router allow you to have more connections or did you lock it down?

Do you restart the virtual machine when you change the adapter type, or is it hibernated/suspended? Make sure you shut it down and restart it when you change the way it connects.
