This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm not sure if I am posting in right place, but is there software that recognizes voice & types for you?

    There certainly is, but it's useful and works to varying degrees. A package called Dragon Naturally Speaking is a major software package in this market that's at Version 7.0 now so it's been around for awhile.

    Yeah, I've read good comments about that package. To Andrew's point though, it's not perfect so be sure to get a demo before plunking down the cash and not being happy with the output.
