Has anyone experienced windows explorer hanging when browsing folders after coming back from sleep/hibernate? When you initially try to open a folder it just sort of sits there, then when you try opening it again the explorer window just stays blank. I'm using the beta 179.28 nvidia drivers.

I can't even reboot properly after this happens because the computer won't shutdown, I have to hard reboot.

This is a pretty annoying bug.

This have happened with all versions of Win7 since 6801, I've yet to find a solution for it, I've even tested just about every driver from 174x to 179x

Just thought I'd give this a bump.

Anyone got any extra details? Is it just the m1530 that's affected, or maybe it's a particular bios?

Just thought I'd give you all a little relief. The culprit appears to be Virtual CloneDrive, which I'm guessing all of you have installed

    5.4.2.3
beta appears to fix the problem.

OK, everything is working fine. I installed the latest beta of VirtualClone and Sleep is working fine. I have tested it after 2 restarts and sleep for over 15 mins. and windows explorer is working fine. Quick note if you are thinking of installing the new beta, delete the following file.
    C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/VClone.sys
if you don't delete it, and try to install the beta it will hang the installation and you will have to do an end task.
Just install beta and restart and enjoy.
