    Hi folks,

I'm having this weird issue with a software tool called Mumble, it's a voice chat application.
I use this tool on my laptop with headphones.
    Let me explain my situation.

    When Mumble is not active
All sound goes through my headphones.

    When Mumble is active
Mumble voice chat goes through my headphones. (It's configured this way).
All the other sounds (Chrome, games, ...) route to the speakers of my laptop.

The point is, I do want everything to be routed to my headphone instead of my laptop speakers.

    W7 Configuration:
Device speakers and headhpones = default device
Device communications headphones = default communication device
(Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device is disabled for both devices.)

I'm also pretty sure my mumble is configured the correct way, audio output
is set to the default device. But than again, voice chat goes through my headphones like it should.

FYI: I have a HP Pavilion dv6150eb with beats audio.

I hope someone can solve my problem,
    thanks in advance!

Since I doubt that not too many of us here use that program, maybe it would serve you better if you asked those questions on their forum.

To be honest I don't think it's a Mumble issue. If I recall correctly I have the same issue with Skype.
I figured I'd have the most chance here to find a solution. The Mumble forum is not that active and I've read multiple threads about similar issues.

As it happens with multiple voice chat applications it should be a W7 sound issue.
I just need to figure a way to force all audio in W7 to my headphone :(

But that is a paid app so the software maker should support it. Even if it is not a Mumble issue, they might be able to point him in the right direction. If their forum doesn't help then use the Mumble software support email contact.
