    If a lot of people posted here their compatible hardware and drivers with W7 ,
    I think This topic will be useful for people thinking about upgrading to windows 7.

    Here is what worked for me , ( Windows 7 Professional )

    I installed Windows 7 on my HP DV5 1135ee laptop with this specs

    Intel WIFI 5100 : worked out of the box
    Nvidia 9600m gt : Installed the vista driver
    HP Bluetooth : Installed HP vista 32bit driver
    HP Remote : Installed windows vista driver
    Quick touch buttons: Installed W7 drivers on HP website
    IDT sound card : Installed vista drivers , Microsoft updated it for me
    Light scribe : Installed W7 driver on HP website
    JMicron Card Reader Driver : Downloaded W7 drivers from HP website
    Sony Vaio Bluetooth mouse : Reinstalled its drivers several times to work
    LG Viewty mobile : working out of the box as a mass storage device

    I am glad to say that everything is working except the HP Quick play touch button button , and the mute button does not turn red when i press Mute / un-mute
