what may happen if Google will offer soon its FREE (Windows XP and Mac OSX compatible) operating system?
maybe, something like this (simulated) GoOS: http://newgoos.blogspot.com/

its going to change everything! 2 times faster than mac osx?!! wow, now that would be awesome. we'll have wait and see if it is what it claims to be or not.
-
It will be like...omg...another linux distribution!
PS, is that your blogspot site? -
I was also thinking linux distribution.
Also that OS would be SO embedded with google's spyware.... -
That's only a Photoshoped picture... I doubt it will happen, if anytime soon.
And as people suggested, if it does happen, it will probably full of Google's bloat with a Linux distro anyways. -

i think in will be unstable on first release
just like chrome(not unstable but some features are annoying) -
Lol, that site looks so fake. But yeah like people said, Google OS will come with Google bloatware up the kazoo.
-
If Google does ever release an operating system (eh), it will be linux based. It will be tied very closely into Google's "Cloud" vision for computing, with everything running Google Gears and syncing online any time an internet connection is detected.
99% compatibility, eh? That would include games then.
As it is, a Google OS is probably under development or in some sort of pre-Alpha stage, but eventually a custom OS would fit decently into their philosophy.
This all means little to me, UNLESS they somehow work DX support or emulation in, in which case I can play games, in which case I will go to Google Headquarters and buy everyone a copy of Beyond Good & Evil from Steam after I am done hugging them all. -
uhm....googleos anyone?
-
Meh. Google OS, Linux, M$ OS, wonder which one will be shipped with the most PCs and therefore dominate the market, oh wait M$ already do...
-
That's an absolutely retarded description. Here, I can do one better:
The new LithusOS:
I will pay you to use it!!!!!!!!:!:!@IJHpa34wtr84t
Works with 21234980% of Windows and Mac OSX software.(#%$%#
543o32587342% faster than Windows and Mac OSX. Get yo **** done fo u even start it shizzle nizzle!!!
System Requirements: Hamster in ball, -12389 GB HDD or a really thick binder.
Unhackable, unvirusable, unspywareable. Able to hide pr0n from your spouse. All due to patented UNICORN MAGIC!P@#$!@!!

...it could happen soon...
See, I can promise random crap too!!11one. -
Given a choice I'll wait for the LithusOS! LOL....
-
lol this looks ridiculous. Google has it's own OS Goobuntu their Ubuntu distro, but it isn't available to the public.
-
I understand that the concept of cloud computing involves using online apps to work on documents online that are not stored on the hard disk; is this true?

Google will rule the world! -
-
8 posts in a row. Good job. I never knew I could format my hard drive to linux from NTFS and then back to FAT32
-
-
Its quite simple to have one post with multiple quotes...hence the multi quote button on the bottom right hand corner of every post
......and you just did it in that post
-
Your posts have been merged...In the future, please use the Multi-quote button or at least edit your post so that is doesnt clutter up the thread.
Thanks.

Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
Google OS *shakes head*
Yes Google certainly wants to rule the world, and they are doing a good job of being the the key masters and gatekeepers of information, like how they hand over IPs to the Chinese Gov't of people who type "unlawful" searches into Google from there... anyways I don't think a Google OS would fly all that well. Just some fanboy users would be my guess. Unless it penetrates the market and every comp sold comes with Google OS. Not impossible but very doubtful. -
did Google Chrome Beta hides a KEYLOGGER in its code?

Is the whole point of this thread to raise the hit count on 'veryeasyeuro.com'?
-
Why are you saying that Google Chrome has a keylogger in it? Obviously, it does not. My AV or nothing picks it up. Are you a hater on Google or what? I don't get you. Google would also never do this.
-
A anti virus wouldn't necessarily pick up a keylogger. The source is open, so it would be kind of hard for Google to hide something like this. But it does raise the question of user privacy.

I'm not a programmer, so, it's not easy to understand for me, but, it seems that this blog's author has used a Borland utility to detect the background work of Chrome and he says that Chrome send every keystroke to a google server -

how "multi-quote" works? I push its button, but nothing happens

Umm, yay?
Thanks, but I'll stick to Windows as it can actually run all my programs. -
-
Hit the multi-quote button for each post you want to quote and then hit the 'quote' button(next to the multi-quote button) on one of them. That should do it.
As for the google OS, if they release it and take it out of beta, then good for them since choices are always good for us.
WHAT may happen if Google will offer SOON its FREE GoOS ?
