I'm trying to figure out what exactly did you do.

You hit alt, then f, then alt and f again?? What are you trying to disable?

Just use the mouse and click where you're supposed to write?

Pressing alt again should work though.

The alt-button is a feauture to not having to move the mouse in order to use the menus
