When I attempt to publish a web page to my domain I get an error that says "Winsock Error. Try Again". My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit in an HP Pavillion dv9700 CTO notebook with 2gb RAM
I've searched for answers throughout the web, including a search for previous posts on this forum, but none appear to work. I even paid for a program (Registry Patrol) which has a "Fix Winsock Errors" tab, but that doesn't work either.
I rate myself as a newbie/intermediate, so I would appreciate suggestions geared to that level. I would prefer a free, do it yourself fix, but if a paid program is my only choice, I'll buy it.
Thanks (in advance) to all who respond.

PUBLISH HOW?
What program are you using...? -
Are you sure this isn't a virus or something like that? They tend to try and make fake "errors" and lead you to buy their "product". Maybe run malwarebytes just to make sure?

What program are you using to publish and where are you publishing this to?
How is your domain hosted?
