The news is finally out that Microsoft's latest release of Windows 7 for its MSDN, TECHNET and DIGITAL RIVER subscribers has sp1 slipstreamed in the ISO. WHile i have tried to look for links to the same, i have been unable to find one. Can someone help me with a link to the same.
Numerous issues have been reported with installing sp1, through windows update.

Download the legal version of Win7 from this forum, there is a therad about that. Then download the SP1 update from Microsoft and slpstream it yourself :) It is countless guides on how to do that if you search at google :)

In other hand, any torrent link for windows 7 or anything like that would be agains the forum rules ;)

The 'news was out' on May 5th with availability of the rebuilt DVD images on May 12th........... There is/was plenty of discussion of the subject here.

It appears that a lot of the 'user issues' with installing win7 SP1 were resolved by downloading the entire SP1 installer and running it from local disk (on your machine) and NOT attempting to run an internet/network install (windows update) of some 700-900 Mb. Again, plenty of discussion of the subject.

you can get all the information you need from technet itself. no need to log in. and yes, it's rather old news.

maybe you know someone who has a technet account and downloads it for you?
