I have a movie which is in the .divx format. The movie plays just fine in WMP but when you look at it inside the folder it doesn't display the dvd cover art that it should.
My question is how do I add this information to the movie file within Windows?
Lastly this is more of an OCD but why does Windows display these different movie files of mine in different sizes? Like 1 file will be a vertical rectangle. Another is horizontal. Yet another is horizontal but TALLER. Is there any way I can get this chaos under control and just have them display in the same vertical rectangle shape? Or does it have to do with the quality of the films (resolution/size or whatever)?

Did you rip and convert the movies from your own BDs or DVDs yourself? If you did, just re-rip them to whatever profile works properly. If not, you have no control over them and no right to grumble about stolen property (OCD or CDO).

I'm not "grumbling". Just asking a simple question. And some of these movies I got from friends who had them on their hard drives. I didn't ask them how they got it so I'm not sure if they ripped them off their own personal dvds or not.
But clearly I'm not gonna get any help so just forget about it. -
If you use Shark codecs it may (or may not) standardize your thumbnails.
