I have a slight annoyance with Windows Media Player 11 and it's library organization. I made a previous thread about this issue but I feel I haven't explained my situation coherently and due do certain circumstances, I have the opportunity to now take screenshots of what I am trying to say.

I prefer the first screen capture's organization. However, WMP 11 likes to organize my music like screen capture 2. Is there anyway to revert to the first screen capture's organization without the letter dividers?

This doesn't really solve the problem, but I think you should try out MediaMonkey. I like it better than both WMP and iTunes.

I've been using WMP 11 and I love it. I absolutely hated the other windows media player versions and was using Winamp or itunes before. itunes took up way too much memory, but previous versions of WMP did also. this new WMP is really nice tho. easy to use and only uses up 15mb of ram at the most.

As for your question, you want to look in the top right hand corner. To the right of Layout Options is a View Options menu. Click the arrow and pull down and select Tile instead of Icon.

I think that will put it back how you like. Or at least closer to it.
