I need to burn a WMV file to a DVD video (so it could played in a DVD player) but I need to convert it into a DVD video file first. I was wondering if anyone knows of any free software that can do this. I found some off Google, but I don't know which one is good and spyware-free. Thanks.

    ffmpeg for Linux.

    JetAudio for Windows is good.

Many of the CD burning suites out there (Roxio, Nero) have video conversion programs.

I tried JetAudio, but it doesn't convert to DVD format. And I tried ConvertXtoDVD from the videohelp.com website but the free version will put a watermark on the video that it converts. Any other ideas guys?
