hi there,
i have a probleme, i am using my notebook as a steam machine connected with HDMI to my TV in Windows 7 64bit with a Dualshock 3 Controller that is connected with a USB Bluetooth Adapter.
When i put the Notebook to sleep i want to be able to wake it up again using the Controller that is paired with the USB BT Adapter.
Reason is: when i fold up the notebook screen to wake it up, windows clones the display automatically, and i have to right click on the screen and set it to display ONLY on the tv. else i get crappy framerates when the display is cloned (even when i close the notebook lid).
second reason: the notebook is positioned under my bed in the bedroom because it makes quite some noise and i always have to pull it from under the bed, open it up to wake it up and change the display output again and push it back under the bed.
there has to be a way to simply wake it up with the bluetooth controller ?
i tried activating wake up in power management in the usb bt adapter in the device settings in windows, but it doesn't work, even pressing on the keyboard doesn't wake it up, just pressing the power button (and this only works with opening the lid).
it's a MSI GE40 2OC Dragon Eyes.
any help is really appreciated.
thanks!
