I like how i can have the wallpapers be like a slideshow, but I want to add some of my own to the windows wallpapers together in one slideshow.

However, the problem is that i cant select both--the ones i download i put in a folder called wallpapers, but i have to scroll down to select it so i cannot add it to the slideshow with the windows wallpapers since those are on another tab. So basically how can i add my own wallpapers to the windows wallpapers for one slideshow?

    Ideas?

drop the wallpapers into C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper and they'll all show up in the same place

I use John's Background Switcher myself. I have it change every 2 minutes as I get bored easily.

Move all the background C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper. Avoid extra useless software that does a poor job. Waist if resources, just use Windows 7 system.

3rd here with John's Background Switcher.

Just out of curiosity, have you even used this small utility for yourself and review/compare the "extra useless waste of resources"? Why should it be wasting any resources if it uses the extra resources that the system is not using?

    cheers ...

Even if the program eats 1Kilo-bites out of you 8GB of RAM, and 5% of CPU usage every now and then... it's still a waist of res sources, when the feature is ALREADY built-in in the OS.

It's like if you come and decide to install a software that is a Windows 7 replacement task bar that is identical to Windows 7. I mean, what's the point.. you have the real thing just there in front of you. Keep your fast booting/account loading OS, save battery life, save resources.

I guess I see things this way as that is kinda what happens when you study computer science at University... all about having everything optimized and efficient. :)

Oh John's Background switcher is MORE than that. Windows background switcher doesn't do thumbnail collages, Facebook, Picassa, Flikr. And it has application detection that turns it off.

I guess this is how I see things considering I've actually USED the software. You can't optimize and streamline a feature that ISN'T there.
