When I went to look in the task manager service tab, some of the services looked suspicious and googled some of them. Then I came upon this site... Vista's Services list, which lists most of vista's services along with a description of each. All the services listed on the site are considered safe? Do you guys think that this should be a sticky since it can help alot of vista user's learn about the services? I have a service called "hpqwmiex", "roxmediaDB9" and "stllssvr" that couldn't be found and was wondering what those are.

The blackviper site just lists the services that come with Windows.
It's not really about what's safe and what isn't.
But if it's on the list, then it's safe (unless the one on your computer is an impostor pretending to be a service that came with Windows).

Black Viper doesn't really help in making your system run faster. I've tried to disable one of the system and a Vista update came up and said it's important. So I re-updated it. My system runs fine with its' loaded System files.
