    Was the Vista SP1 registry hack the actual RTM?

    I remember reading in one of the threads someone was claiming that if you did the registry hack you weren't actually downloading the RTM of SP1. I downloaded SP1 using this method and I want to verify that I have the RTM and I don't need to uninstall it and then install the true SP.

    You probably do have the RTM. It's been out for awile.

    If there's been ANY chance since that registry hack came out, then you'll probably have to uninstall/reinstall. Hope not though.

    Actually if I were you, I'd uninstall it and get the REAL THING for sure. But that's just me.
