How do I burn my avi. files into a watchable DVD? I have Alcohol 120% and DVD Shrink, and Roxio Creator Business Edition. I can get other software too if I need it. Also, if possible, can I make a menu?

ConvertXtoDVD is the easiet program that does that, it makes menus automatic and converts it just buy adding the .avi movie and pushing the "convert" button. Very easy to use and works great to make DVD's. It costs money though ;)

Roxio should have an option to convert that to a video CD or a super video CD. I use NERO but hopefully you have such an option. Keep us posted.

DVD Flick is exactly the same (if not better) and free!

Edit: Oh yeah. I think it does simple menus too

Some new DVD players also support DivX and XviD, check yours and see if it does too . Then you don't need to convert.

Have a look at the features page of DVD Flick.
It supports most videos, in nearly eery format; a bit like VLC.

FAVC is also real good if you want to convert AVI to DVD. But you can get a DVD player that plays AVI for about $30 US....Why bother?

i've tried DVD Fick a couple times but could get the menu feature to work. perhaps it's my system or DVD player. I just read in the Flick forums that using simple black may help. Next time I'll try that.

Of course, if I upgrade my standalone player I'll get the type that plays other formats than .vob
