Does anyone know of such a program? My work sometimes involves a bit of data entry in which metrics(or quotas) are kept. There are often cases where I have to enter large quantities of dollar amounts into a webpage, then turn around and enter the exact same thing into an Excel spreadsheet. The keystrokes I use in both are exactly the same(type the amount, hit 'enter'). If there was some way I could just do this process once yet have the figures entered into both places at once that would save me a ton of time. I already tried to copy & paste but that never works due to formatting issues I think.

A cursory Google search didn't turn up anything useful. Thanks in advance.

drive the web page from the spreadsheet. or from an access dB that is fed from the spreadsheet.

or feed your #s into an access dB and then 'publish' from there to create a spreadsheet and the web pages.

you'll need some php programming to get it done.

Alternatively, you can use a keystroke recorder/auto hotkey program to record the strokes on the first go, and then 'replay' them for the second one.

Ctrl-C - Ctrl-V isn't doing it for you? Maybe I can do that faster than you..

Keystroke recorder would probably be your best option.

copy/paste seems like the best choice

but if thats not possible, just get a keylogger (and make sure you tell your AV that its ok, so it won't freak out)...
