Anyone know anything about this company?

    http://biosagentplus.com/

They can basically do a scan of ur current bios and hardware and make you a custom bios...

For one thing, the risk of getting a 3rd party to update your BIOS, let alone write a new one for you, is immense. If it goes wrong, your motherboard is toast and I don't see any guarantee or assurance on their website.

Second, I question whether this site is legitimate. There is no contact information on the website, although I did only glance at it. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

First, I agree with Bog above.

Second, as far as I could see, it scans for your drivers and helps you get new ones for those which are outdated in your system.

I think DriverMax has already been doing a good job for this, till now.... and as for writing your BIOS, I would on any day go with an OEM Bios.

eSupport.com offers BIOS and Drivers scan and offers updates if available.

The scan service can be done manually, as you need.

It does not automatically update for you, it offers a download, but the activation of bios and drivers is being left up to the users.

    Cons:
. You can just do the searches (bios and drivers) yourself

I used them in the past, never had an issue of spyware/spam none whatsoever.

    cheers ...

Another con is sometimes (most of the time) they would charge you to get to the download section, or for some hard to find Bios/Drivers

    cheers ...

That site is (a) affiliated with e-Support, and (b) doesn't offer anything even remotely like a custom(ized) BIOS. Basically, if you d/l their little client app, it'll scan your system, and do things like checking the BIOS version, and then compare that against a checklist it has of the latest firmwares, drivers, BIOS updates, etc, for your make/model, and tell you what it thinks you're missing.

Since most, if not all, of these things can be done from the Mfr's website for free, I really don't see the point in paying them to do it for you, unless you're a really time-pressured, highly-paid executive (in which case, you probably already have an IT department that can do the same thing for you, again without the additional fee :D).

I just installed latest stuff on my computer. i mean they really are latest, bios, drivers, etc. B4 that i scanned my comp with that program. I scanned my comp again and it shows me that i have still exactly same old stuff b4 installing new stuff. Imho that free scan looks a hoax to get ppl buy their software. No contact informations to ask anything, just need to buy their software by adds and cuz of our "old" stuff. Not good way to sell anything.
