Alright, this has been bugging me ever since I installed AIM onto this new computer. Every 10-15 minutes, AIM will make the IM beep even though I haven't received or sent any messages. I checked my sound settings, and no other things are set to use that soundfile. Anyone else familiar with this? I'm running on the system in my sig, and using the newest version of AIM.

try installing aim ad hack(google it - it gets rid of all ads/crap/bloatware that AIM comes with)....it might be an ad causing this beep.
