I use the mostly abandoned Google Talk for Windows standalone application instead of the built in gmail/gplus one. I only have two people on the contact list for it. Lately though one of the guys from Google Plus circles has been showing up on it. I right clicked his name and removed, then I unchecked "show all address book contacts" in the view menu - it removed his name from the list, but I still get "(guy's name) is online" popups whenever he signs on, despite no longer being on the gtalk contact list.

Any idea why this is happening or how I can fix it? It's only happened with this one person, not any other google plus contact.
