    Hi People,

I have been having this issue for quiet some time now. Please see the attachment. When I try to resize the playlist window in Winamp, it resizes in strange ways. In fact, the dotted outline of the window is totally at a random place, and not where the playlist window actually is. Anyone have any idea of why is this, and how to get this sorted out?

Also, I have tried to play around with the options / settings in Winamp, but could not find a way out of this.

    Thanks in advance.

Isn't that already with the 'modern' theme? May be you meant 'try changing the theme to classic'? I'll check on this though...

Oh well, yeah. You are right.

I switched to the classic theme, and its all fine now. No random resizing.

So, is this a known issue? Or is anyone aware of a fix for this, when using the modern theme? :( I like the modern theme better. Thanks again, Vinu.

Winamp draws it's window with an interesting technique since it's skinned like it is. I believe that it hides the main window, and just draws all the other ones, so it could be that the outline is of a hidden window that Winamp is somehow incompetently hiding.

You should be able to change the setting on whether or not an outline is shown when windows are resized or moved in the desktop preferences. At least you could in XP... Vista may have removed that option.

    Thanks, Pitabred.

I cannot find this option. But I did play with the 'show window contents while dragging' option, but it had no effect. The issue persists.

Yeah, I have seen all this Vinu :( I mean, I have checked out every possible setting that I came across. Anyway, for now I think I'll just live with this, until someone can get in more info or if I find an answer somewhere. Cheers. Thanks again, mate.
