This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Weird...Uninstall XP SP3 now 2 Add/Remove Programs?

    Hi

    Work with a dude who was running XP SP2. Convinced him to upgrade to SP3.

    He installed SP3 and then removed or uninstalled it (issues).

    After uninstall of SP3, he now has two Add/Remove programs on his Control Panel. Like everything there is duplicated.....

    Huh?

    I find it funny, but he doesn't. It's like *** is going on here?.

    Never seen this before....has Anybody got a clue?
