The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. I've recently downloaded FeedDemon and really come to like it. It's the first time I've really used an RSS reader before too.

I was just wondering if there is anything better out there?

And also, I don't know if this belongs here.. but what sites do you use to get your general news from? As well as tech news, and whatever else you're subscribed to..

Feeddemon is pretty good. I like the advanced features like a web reader that synchronizes with the desktop version (handy for when your on another PC w/out feeddemon.)

i use snarfer. its lightweight, doesnt get in the way and its free. it also has some search features for ebay and craigslist which i dont use. its pretty great actually, if only it marked unread entries with color instead of bolding the title and displayed the number of unread items on tray, i would stop missing akregator on kde, but snarfer is as close as it gets.
