    Each service does a particular task, and there are lots of tasks.

    Hi,

    yes, especially when you use your laptop as it came from the manufacterer, i.e. with all programms and stuff which was preinstalled, a lot of processes ar running. I've got about 60-65 permanently running, think this is pretty normal!

    Processes 72 I'm okay with that and I can check what they are but I'm talking about the 'Services' tab - its absolutely huge!!

    My Sony FE790 started with 67 processes running at initial startup.

    With a lot of editing I now run 42 processes.
