    What causes Windows Media Center to launch in Win 7?

    Some keystroke I do every once in a while by accident triggers it and annoys the hell out of me. I have no idea what I'm doing, though.

    Do you have WMC pinned to your taskbar? If so, Windows + a number key launches pinned items, corresponding to the number. Any other key to launch WMC is probably laptop-specific (maybe programmed in by the OEM through the Fn key or something).

    It's not pinned to the taskbar and it's not on quicklaunch.

    It must be a Fn thing like you said, it always seems to happen when my hand's in that area of the keyboard.

    Maybe Fn + Win.
