    On Vista when I click my name and it opens all of the folders like downloads and stuff there are 8 folders with a bunch of random numbers and letters in name... What are they? Here is an example: {a4359991-4e22-4a0b-a556-917dcc8a09ec}

    Also for some reason I unistalled a few programs like battlefield 2 demo and stuff but under the add/remove programs it is still there but instead of a max file size of like 1.3GB it is only 7.65MB, I can't seem to get rid of them...

    For those folders, I'm not 100% sure, have you tried opening them and see what's in it? Most often, they could be empty or just temp files for updates and installations.

    As for the uninstalled program being still under Add/Remove Programs, download CCleaner and do a registry and application clean up, it should fix those problems.

    P.S. Always backup the registry when CCleaner prompts, just to be safe.

    Folders or files?

    Screen shot would be nice...

    I think you are looking at your user profile transaction files--when you make changes to your user profile (settings, etc) these files are temporarily stored in these files until you shut down, at which point they are written to the registry.
