Hi, I am kind of confused here. I want to get Vista Home 64-bit so I can have 4 gigs of RAM, but I don't know how much software (games in particular) is compatible with 64-bit Vista. Is this something I should be worried about?

Most games are compatible but will run with a slight decrease in frame rates. For 4GB of RAM it should not be a problem in terms of performance

F.E.A.R., Need For Speed Carbon, Half Life 2, HL Episode1, HL Deathmatch, HL Lost Coast, (all Half Life games are run via Steam) and Moorhuhn Kart 2.. all run on Vista HP x64. I can't say I have noticed any slow down in framerate and they all play very well (I have 2gbs ram and a socket 939 Athlon 64bit X2 4200+)

I'll add more as I play em!
