Turned my laptop on, it won't load to desktop.
I'll do a restart > same thing. All I see is blank screen with mouse, so now I'll ALT-CTRL-DEL and open Task Manager, run explorer.exe and my desktop is back.

Next I see all my cookies and such are deleted from Internet Explorer, taskbar seems all white/gray-like and my date is 5th September year 2020.

Don't know what else is diffrent, I'll post when I'll notice.

Any ideas what might've caused it?

    Umm...Virus????

Try a system restore if you can...to a date when it was working fine..u could try safe mode if having issues with running it in normal mode.

It's 6 months old. And usually I will manually get rid of all malware, but I'm more amazed - how did it happen. o.o
Left my comp alone for an hour and this happened. :/

If it happens again after rebooting, then do a System Restore.
