Atm I have 1511 windows 10 build, I need update? I do not know if it's good to update, for a time to me this version works well, but I would like to know if there are any advantages when updating to a newer and more stable version.
Thanks.

1803 did remove some feature from 1709 if I got my build right. But so far 1803 is stable for me. But mine version is Retail not factory installed O/S. So that makes a difference you don't get all the bloat and junkware.

Starlight5 Yes, I'm a cat. What else is there to say, really?
Upgraded to 1809 by mistake couple days ago, it's usable though so I won't roll back.
I prefer the build which didn't have image blinking between calibrated via color profile and uncalibrated every fracking time some device is plugged in or removed. Probably was build 1703 or even 1607 - don't remember for sure, was eons ago. Had to stop using color profiles for this reason. )'=Last edited: Dec 26, 2018 -

I'm running 1809[codenamed "Redstone 5"] in 64 and 32 Bit flavors, no problems.
Version 1511 (November Update)
Support of this version for users of the Current Branch (CB) and Current Branch for Business (CBB) ended on October 10, 2017. The last public update was released on April 10 2018, for Enterprise and Education versions only.
Windows 10 version 1903 codenamed "19H1" is the seventh major update to Windows 10 and the first to use a more descriptive codename (including the year and the order released) instead of the "Redstone" codename.--next -
1607 was the best one for me. Now I'm on v1803.

Unsolicited advice is the best kind, right?
Does Windows 10 even have a "best build" yet? The revolving door of never ending beta roll outs would make it so you would never have a "final" version of a piece of software.
Microsoft's laziness, and lack of intuitive advancement will eventually become its downfall. They are a shell of what they were in the past. Creative innovation has been replaced with stale, and monotonous releases of bland software, as is the case with any monopoly. -

@Woodking just stating the obvious because when home user start their computer they are the admin/owner without knowing this and this is what those malware and virus are expecting and most everyday users don't suspect this at all. That is what gives computer repair shops jobs and IT jobs guarantee. But on the flip side knowing this goes along way to the first line of defense as well. If they Password the Admin/Owner and then a good A/V that is the first line of defense. And no, I think those malicious virus and malware makers got more stealthy. Who would've thought that.

IMHO they should have kept support for Win7 with a new service pack - giving them more time to properly design a new OS from the ground up, making sure it was rock solid before release and remove all the junk that no one asked for. There are so many 3rd party tools now it seems that many more users are getting wise to this invasion and doing the same as us, so MS's forcing updates for 'security reasons' has failed miserably.
Just this morning I had a neighbour out walking his dog complain to me that after a recent Windows 10 Update he cant find any of his documents or music and the onboard NIC has vanished from Device Manager meaning he cant access the Internet!
As Microsoft would say if questioned - "Yeah Yeah Yeah leave us alone we know what we're doing"!Last edited: Feb 12, 2019kimiraikkonen, Raiderman, Vasudev and 1 other person like this.
