So after looking at how terrible YouTube rendered my recent video, went onto Vegas to check if I could tweak some settings
Think, maybe if I render at higher than 1080, it'll force the original option on YouTube and will therefore allow me to use a better bit rate
I used the WMV setting, normally stick to MP4
Press render, then this happens to the preview screen and the end render is exactly the same![]()
I was meaning to roll back to Windows 7 for no real reason, my installation of 8 was getting slow, too much e installed. Reinstall Vegas and such, record another 3-5min video, open it up in Vegas and the exact same thing.
At first I just thought it was the crap in my 8 installation, but this is happening on a 2 hour old installation of Windows. There can be nothing wrong with this version of Windows or Vegas, yet the problem is still here.

If any of you could give me a hand, it would be greatly appreciated, I tried googling around, but don't really know how to word the problem I have
(Recording using MSI Afterburner)

no idea what could be causing that as ive never used afterburner to record.
i couldnt get along with vegas at all for my digital video camera so am using cyberlink power director which has the fastest 64bit rendering available.
a 5 minute clip at full 1080 hd takes about 6-10 seconds.
doesnt help your above problem but might be worth trying the trial out to compare PowerDirector 11 Ultra Free Trial Download | CyberLink -
Turns out it was just The 13.8 Drivers
I didn't think it was going to be those at I have had those installed for a day and not a problem, but that would be because I never went to render something until now, which must've engaged something for it all to go to .
Anyway, thanks! I would move onto another software, but being so fluent with Vegas, don't really see a point to.
What is wrong with my Sony Vegas?
