    What program do you use to RIP DVDs?

    anybody know what AXXO uses? or any other good program to rip DVD?

    i don't understand this ripping business. How hard is it to do? Also why do lots of people depend on aXXo to do this. Does is it take that much skill?

    Can you just do it in Windows Media Player like you can with audio CDs?

    Over 300 movies ripped, quite a collection for myself. VERY messy as you might imagine.

    Anyways, I use DVDFAB then take it over to Shrink to compress. But that's only on movies I can't do alone wth SHrink.

    DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink for standard movies.

    For pesky movies (*COUGH* SONY *COUGH*) I'd use DVD Fab Decrypter or RipIt4Me with a complex combination of DVD Decrypter involved.

    I have hundreds of DVDs ripped as well, and the tools really aren't that difficult.

    Simple and free, yeah it's pretty much the best. :D

    You can't expect it to rip newer movies, so I guess as a decrypter it's not so great, but it's a fantastic compressor. Simple interface.
