I'm going on a trip so I want to back up a few of my most important files in my 6 Gen iPod, just in case. But I don't know exactly what software to use. I need to keep some of those files very protected because of confidentiality issues in my job, so a password alone doesn't seem enough. But I want something that's easy to use, and preferably free. I basically want easy access to any of those files without having to install any mammoth-application.
Keep in mind that it'd have to work on an iPod--it is set to work as an external HD but with an iPoo you never know.
Any recommendations?

Have you tried http://www.truecrypt.org/(free)? Basically create an encrypted virtual file container on the Ipod with the program, and when you need it you just mount it with truecrpt wizard and it will show up as a local disk/HDD in 'My Computer'. When your done saving to it, just unmount it.

Thank you, the program is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately since the iPod is FAT32, there's a size limit. I'll use it with my other drives though.
What software do I need to create a password-protected/encrypted folder on an iPod?
