    Hi guys!

I will be a proud owner of an Asus N61JQ-A1 in two days. I've been scanning these forums for quite some time in terms of which laptops were right for me or whatnot, as well as ask knowledgeable friends and family. Now that I've decided, I believe I need to make this post because otherwise I will not know what to do. I've searched up this topic before, but the ones I found were more than a year old.

Anyways, the question is, what should I do with the brand new laptop?

I have seen/heard things like reformatting, doing something with the battery, run PC Decrapifier, and lots of other tidbits. I am a total "noob" for lack of a better word when it comes to laptops, or even desktops. So it would be great for those who reply to give all the painful little details, and explain why I need to complete these tasks?

For example, I don't even have a clue what PC Decrapifier does besides what the name suggests... I do know it gets rid of bloatware, but how does it work? Can I not just manually uninstall the useless programs?

Thanks in advance for those who reply!
