My laptop is infected with Adloader, a nasty trojan.

My laptop won't boot anymore from harddisk.

I have another PC that I can work on and create CD's.

Does anyone know security software that allows me to create a bootable CD or DVD, from where I can recover and scan?

Most virus scanners allows you to create recovery disk's, although I believe it needs to be done from the computer you are wanting to use it on. Some may be independent of the computer so you might try that.

Also the Ultimate Boot CD project has a free boot cd that you can download and use. It has a couple of antivirus utilities on it. It can be downloaded here:

Failing everything else, you can just boot off of your windows cd and try to recover from that. Good Luck

Thanks. I've tried Avast Pro but could not find that function. I will now try Norton.

    And I will try UBCD
