I also have a question, do I really need 3 different .Net Frameworks?
-
Regarding the .NET Frameworks: unless you are running applications that need the .NET Framework, you don't need any of them. Also, most applications written for 1.1 should work with 3.0, so you should be OK if you uninstall 1.1 and 2.0.
Notice how I said "should"?
For all other applications, if you don't need them, remove them. Anything with "Windows" is usually a recommended update, so I wouldn't touch those. MSXML 6.0 doesn't replace 4.0, so you need both of those. DeviceFunctionQFolder and DeviceManagementQFolder are HP utilities of some sort, so I would guess they are necessary for your PC. WebFldrs XP isn't necessary (unless you use it, of course) and can go.
The rest of the apps you should be able to figure out if they are necessary.
You know, 20gb drives are very cheap - I would seriously consider upgrading the drive for a few bucks. You'll notice a speed increase. -
I'd remove Acrobat Reader and go with Foxit Reader personally.
-
Thanks, but I uninstalled the HP Apps, leaving only the driver, so are the device folders necessary? I guess I'll Google it. I'd love to use Foxit, in fact, I've used it, but it doesn't open inside Firefox, which is the only reason I don't use it, I guess I'm a nitpicker.

Although Foxit Reader is a nice application, it doesn't handle protected files very well. That one problem forced me to go back to Acrobat Reader.
What updates and programs should be deleted?
