When I try to select text in any editor it will randomly select a large block of text when I click. Then if I try to scroll the cursor up with the arrow keys it will highlight all of the text as it scrolls. is up with this? I'm using Windows XP, and I may have accidentally hit some keys with my elbow, but this is driving me crazy.

It also seems to be doing this in Windows Explorer. When I click on an icon, it will highlight all of the icons before it.

Sounded like you are stuck with a Java Script somewhere that checks Mouse Up and/or Mouse Down events.

    cheers ...
