    Did anyone notice this update??? Windows6.1-KB2993651 what if it had any effect on your system? I will install it later this week but kinda surprise me when I checked for updates. Most likely AutoUpdate and I would've never seen it.

    I never heard of a version of windows that was 6.1

    But it looks like a patch for an earlier update that bonked some computers.

    FYI Windows 6.1patches aka Windows 7 O/S translated. But will install the update just to be sure. I do know something from the last batch update did stop my Free Download Manager from working in IE 11 though.
