    When will MS fix the IE8 last saved pic location bug?

    it's been so long now........why in the world aren't MS fixing this bug????? it's so annoying I have to renavigate to the folder I want after every pic I wanna save........it doesnt remember the last saved pic folder location! :mad:

    PS: please don't recommend any other browser as I will not switch from IE8

    Fixed, but at what cost? It looks like the fix is to make IE8 use a single thread for all tabs. That means if one tab freezes or has an issue ALL tabs will die as well.

    So bottom line is IE8 cannot be fixed by M$ as the OP wanted.....

    Unless, with the IE8 installation a folder is automatically created that the user can place the saved stuff where he/she wants and rename at will.

    And everytime IE8 is started it points automatically to that folder or then creates a new "adaptable" folder for the user?

    Afterall, we are talking where IE8 is storing stuff saved......how can that be so difficult to accomplish. Even with all tabs acting independently??

    Call it a "common storage area" for IE8.

    I don't know. You should take your suggestion to Microsoft - the Microsoft Social forums are a good place for this type of a recommendation; much better than here, since MS doesn't troll this forum often (if at all).
