    I plan to buy a new laptop, as soon as possible. Most likely, HP. I want windows 7, already loaded. While there is plenty of information about upgrading to windows 7, I can't find any information about when you'll be able to buy a laptop with windows 7 already loaded. Anyone know? Thanks!

    We're getting ready to start setting up our display computers with Windows 7 either today or Monday, depends if I feel like bothering or not because I'll be the main one doing it ~_~

    Soooo.. does that mean, if you do get around to putting these new machines out on Monday, people will be able to walk out of your shop with Win7 preloaded laptops before the 22nd???

    No, just the display models will start appearing on the shelves. Personally I think its a bad idea because people will be asking when they can get it constantly, but I'm not manager >_>;

    I think most of the people that would want it before the 22nd has already obtained it somehow anyway.

    Only on a few low-end preconfigured models, which cost a fortune if you want to upgrade any of the components; and you won't receive any of these until well after the 22nd.
