I've been meaning to get a netbook for a while but I decided to wait until I can get one with Win 7. Do we know a date or are they even available now? Based on the reviews, ASUS is what I had in mind but I would consider other brands.

ASUS is way ahead of the game with Window 7 implementation. Its EEE 1000 series is unbeatable in my book at the moment.

You probably will not see any with W7 at least until October, but you can upgrade.

    cheers ...

Many netbooks will be out later in October, due to Windows 7. An example is Lenovo and Samsung's ION netbooks.

I heard that the T91 with multi-touch will be out also after October.

They're already available. Check my Sig.

You can always get the netbook now and install 7 separately via the Retail Disc when it's released as well. Just another option.

Most likely not until next year when Intel introduces the Pinetrail platform at CES. Most netbooks today with the N270/N280/Z520/Z530 will stay with XP.
